Cereal\u00a0SMArtI\u00a0(Cereal System Management Artificial Intelligence) is an industrial research and experimental development project aimed at the intelligent management of the cereal supply chain through Industry 4.0 enabling technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The system integrates two main components: a Smart Farming platform based on Deep Learning, convolutional neural networks, and IoT sensors for crop health monitoring and\u00a0optimised\u00a0resource management; and an ecosystem services monitoring module for quantifying soil carbon stock, greenhouse gas emissions, and water footprint.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The goal is to develop a Decision Management System capable of reducing chemical input use, increasing productivity, and certifying the environmental sustainability of the supply chain, in alignment with the European Green Deal and the new CAP 2023\u20132027.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
